Driving this brief from a private developer was the transformation of a derelict collection of workshops in the heart of Islington, London into a contemporary modern residential community.
The result was a group of converted warehouse flats and new townhouses with gardens set around a private courtyard. The materials and style of the design reflect a contemporary take on the earlier history of the site and surrounding area.
