Approach

Engaging an architect usually begins with a kernel of an idea, a need that requires a physical solution or just an itch that needs scratching. At Sam Moran Architects we set out to work collaboratively with our clients to design environmental, light filled, enjoyable simple spaces that not only meets your initial needs and aspirations but with our design, technical and material experience, exceeds them.

Collaboration with the client and project consultants if fundamental to building a dialogue to explore effective solutions and delivery.

This collaboration and our experience will help you refine your brief while identifying any possible constraints that need to been taken into consideration to create a coherent environmental focused response.

This always includes;

  • Awareness of budget to brief

  • Planning and Building statutory compliance,

  • Other restrictive legislation i.e. Rights of light, Party Wall, Listed Building

  • Material carbon footprint

At the end of this process you should feel you have a building that not only meets your needs but is a light filled, healthy environment that you enjoy being in and as importantly, one that you have engaged and participated in creating.
